Sport and gym injuries
Sports injury physiotherapy in Birmingham City Centre
Runners, gym-goers and team sport players all get the same thing here: one thorough assessment to find the cause, hands-on treatment on the day, and a plan to get you back to full training.
Injuries commonly seen
- Running: runner's knee, shin pain, Achilles and calf problems, hip and lower back pain
- Gym: shoulder pain from pressing and pulling, lower back pain, hip and groin niggles
- Team sports: hamstring and calf strains, ankle sprains, knee and groin pain
- Overuse: tendon problems such as tennis elbow that build up from repeated load
Same assessment, whatever the sport
There is one assessment, £70 for 60 minutes. It includes hands-on treatment, a clear explanation and a plan for the return to training. Acupuncture, sports massage, cupping and red light therapy are used alongside it where they help.
Rehab that ends in the gym
When pain has settled, coached sessions at £60 each help you rebuild strength and confidence under load. See personal training.
