Who this is for
Because “just rest and take painkillers” isn't a recovery plan.
Do any of these sound like you?
The office worker
You're struggling to focus at your desk because of a deep, nagging ache in your neck or lower back. By 3pm you're stiff and exhausted, tired of waking up feeling older than you actually are.
The restricted athlete
A stubborn injury is forcing you to modify your workouts or sit on the sidelines. You've rested for a few weeks, but the moment you squat, run, or lift heavy again, the same pinching pain flares right back up.
Stuck in long-term pain
You're stuck in a frustrating cycle of slow rehab that isn't getting results. You feel like you've tried everything, foam rolling, stretching routines, generic advice, and want someone to finally pinpoint the root cause.
If you nodded along to any of those, you don't need generic treatment. You need a dedicated, one-to-one strategy designed for your specific body and lifestyle. Let's get you moving cleanly again.

“By the time I started treatment, the pain had progressed to numbness in my leg, and sitting for longer than 20 minutes was extremely uncomfortable. I have since been seeing Joel weekly for acupuncture and cupping, and the improvement has been remarkable. The constant pain and discomfort have gone, and most importantly I am happily running again.”
“I can't recommend Joel highly enough. He's been a huge help in getting me back to CrossFit after injuring my ACL. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and never felt like a generic rehab plan. I'm now back doing CrossFit without pain and feel much more confident and resilient than I did before.”
“I've been suffering joint and nerve pain for over a decade. Joel took the time to understand my condition and was able to explain the reason for my years of pain better than the doctors. It doesn't take me 20 minutes to get out of bed in the morning due to stiffness and pain anymore.”
“I hadn't tried cupping or red light before and Joel explained how they would help with my back. We did 3 sessions. The back is no longer in agony and I've enjoyed walking with my pals again. I'm feeling back to normal and will be aiming for my first 10K run with his advice.”
“Had such an insightful session with Joel in my short stay in Birmingham. The whole session itself was a physio masterclass experience. He listened to the history of my injury, ran relevant tests, and gave an easy to follow strength protocol for my injury to get better and stronger.”
The philosophy
About Joel Nathan
Hi, I'm Joel. After years as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist across busy NHS and private clinics, I kept seeing the same thing: patients rushed through a conveyor belt of care, handed a generic sheet of exercises, and sent on their way. I founded my practice to do it differently.
- One-to-one, the whole time. Every minute of your session is spent with me. You're listened to, not rushed.
- Treated at the root cause. Evidence-based manual therapy aimed at what's actually causing the pain, not just where it hurts.
- Built to last. Not a quick fix, a clear, practical plan to rebuild strength and stay pain-free.
